One of the saddest quotes from Doctor Who
Anyways, Spring is on the way, And I figured I'd better get started on that list I promised.
And then I downloaded Instagram for Android...and I got a bit distracted.
Sorry.
I was busy taking photos of random crap and pretending I was artistic.
So here's an "artistic" picture of what I made this week:
The fishtail bracelet out of yarn and the "magic braid" leather bracelet are my creations. The sculls would probably be best artributed to the oxen who grew them.
yah, ox bone.
I try not to think about it.
Enjoy!

First world problems...
So I'm compiling a list of all the craft ideas I have saved up. Maybe Ill inspire someone, but if nothing else, I will have a master list.
Trying to find sources (to give proper credit) has been a nightmare.
People dont know how to link something properly, so then it takes me to the main page of someones blog, but its been months since that particular thing was front page.
I went through 6 months of fashion blog for one photo. Then I gave up.
Ugh. People.

Remake on something old.
I had this bracelet for ever, but the elastic had worn out.
I loved the beads, so I decided to make a new bracelet with it.
The beads are these really cool, hand-carved faces, so it was important to me to highlight that.
I thought maybe using macrame would work. I used the square knot technique over the beads so they would stay in place.
But that didn't end well:
I just really didn't like the way it looked. It seemed super "8th grade summer camp," which is NEVER a look I want to repeat...
Anyways, I remembered another way to tie things that looks a bit more...classy?
I re-threaded the beads, and wrapped it into a circle:
and used the same square knot around the two criss-crossed pieces:
Here it is! Finished and modeled by my lovely friend Shani
